We Played Music at Irish Fest!
What a fantastic group of Irish music session players at Milwaukee Irish Fest! Thanks to County Crossings Band, Bill Frank, Jim McVeigh and McAuliffe's Pub for inviting us to join in!

About Milwaukee Irish Fest
Milwaukee Irish Fest is the world's largest celebration of Celtic music and culture! This festival is held annually in August at the Summerfest grounds on the western shore of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's an all-Celtic event that features everything for Irish, Scottish, Welsh and American Celtic music lovers. Many stages and tents showcase bands, cultural exhibits, dance, sports, genealogy, food and beers. This gigantic event attracts over 130,000 attendees yearly to its lakeside location.
We Also Ran Around and Danced a Jig
At Irish Fest, we also ran in the 5 kilometer running race with many other runners dressed in kilts and wearing green, too.
Doing all the Celtic musicians proud, that's us on the stage dancing a jig with a lovely lassie after the race. And, look closer! You can see that we are both wearing our mesals that we son for our fast times in the race!
Surprise! Now We're on the Poster
I guess it pays off to be an energetic Celtic music and running duo, because we found ourselves on the poster online, after the race! It's always a good time at Irish Fest.
Congratulations all around for good times at Milwaukee Irish Fest.
