Many viewers find our YouTube Shorts on our @tuneytwosome channel to be cute and charming due to their wholesome, creative nature. We intentionally include happy little animations and comedy to spice up our musical performances. Elements that contribute to our "cutesy" aesthetic include:
Playful Visuals - Real footage of Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance singing and morphing or transforming into entertaining super characters, like the Rock n' Rollers in the animation to the left, from our long form video of Mary Kay's original song "As Long As You Are Mine."
Animated Storytelling - Many Shorts feature cheerful animations, such as the trailer for Mary Kay's original song "Christmas Shoes," which includes a puppy and "fanciful dancing boots" under a Christmas tree.
Whimsical Characters - Videos like golden lady music box dancers use stylized, rotating imagery to create a vintage, storybook feel.

Youtube Shorts Pose Challenges
Bringing our music to more listeners via Youtube Shorts is a challenge. I think it's because viewers quickly flip through the shorts that show up on their cell phones. Therefore, the first second or two has to catch their interest, which is more fitting to crazy stunts and foolery rather than music like ours.
Also, there's a lot of competition in the world of Shorts. Nevertheless,
little music videos are fun to make! My shorts are sometimes pretty wacky,
