Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance on stage as Slim and Minnie

Folk Music On Stage

Here we are as Slim and Minnie on stage with Granny Fox and the Farm Hands Band at the Bark River festival. Summer is for cavorting, and Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance sure did some of that, when performing at the Bark River festival.

An Annual 4th of July Event

The Bark River, Michigan 4th of July Festival is an annual community event featuring a morning parade, family activities at the Bark River Sports Complex (like bounce houses, games, food, and live music by local bands like the ours), historical reenactments and a real cannon for this particular Anniversary event, culminating in fireworks at dusk, organized by local groups like the Heart of the North Lions Club and Bark River Lions Club.

It's a classic and fun small-town celebration with food, raffles, and community spirit.

A Little Polka Dancing

We even did a little polka dancing, after our show. For a clip of us cutting the rug in the polka tent, you'll have to view the video. Have polka band? Will dance!
