Tagged Performing for Beltane

We were tagged while performing at Fire on the Mountain Beltane Festival Virginia City, Nevada. Here we are performing as Gairin Celtic Music and posing for the camera with Willie Puchert, President of the Sons and Daughters of Erin (SADOE Reno).

Performing at Beltane

We were tagged after our show while visiting with Willie at the SADOE tent at the festival today on C Street.

The Beltane Festival in Virginia City, Nevada, is a vibrant, Celtic-inspired pagan celebration of spring, fertility, and fire, featuring costumed performers, drumming, fire, dancing, and rituals like handfasting and Maypole dancing, often happening around May 1st, with attendees connecting to nature and mythological themes. It's a recurring local tradition with a focus on community and new beginnings.

What's Beltane About?

It's a holiday inspired by the ancient Gaelic festival of Beltane, marking the beginning of summer and the start of the pastoral season. We always enjoy the fantastical aspects of Celtic festivals and love playing our music at these events.
